In the very heart of a town called Trelleborg in Sweden, you find a gallery. A gallery that is small, very small and it's name is "Urban Gallery". It could be the smallest gallery around.
It's located inside a tea shop, Krydderiet, and if you're more than one in your company you could say, as the Spark song "This town ain't big enough for the both of us", that this gallery isn't big enough for the both of you.

Alex Urban
Born and raised in Trelleborg, the very south of Sweden. The house where I grew up was right by the ocean and as a child, and even now, I love walking on the beach, preferably when the wind and ocean is wild. And I think it showes in most of what I do, a bit desolated and barren.
My interest for photography and images came from my love of music. The record sleeves from my favorite bands fascinated me, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, UFO, Bad Company, Peter Gabriel, Thin Lizzy to name a few.
And very often, there was a hidden message in the images that I didn't always understood but that feeling is what I take with me in my work today.
